Gordon Melrose Building Design was formed in February 1995, and has established a reputation for sound advice, clear & accurate drawings and other documentation, and a practical approach to the design of all building types. Although GMBD is based in Selkirk in the Scottish Borders, the Practice undertakes work covering The Borders, Dumfries and Galloway, Edinburgh, The Lothians, and North of England, although projects have also been undertaken in Argyll and Shetland. Gordon Melrose has over twenty five years experience in architectural practice gaining invaluable experience in all aspects of design, contract management & construction in wide range of projects and building types. Prior to setting up his own practice, Gordon was an Associate Partner of a large Architectural practice based in Edinburgh and The Borders.
